The newest Paul Rodriguez pro model sneaker from Nike SB is a pretty big departure from the previous P Rod models. The style for the new P Rod takes a little inspiration from the Stefan Janoski Pro model…it has been drastically cut down. The P Rod 2.5 is a much more simple sneaker now but still retains the best features of P Rod’s previous models. Basically, this shoe takes all of the protection and padding of the old P Rod and slims it down into a super lightweight and functional skate shoe on a grippy vulcanized sole. You gotta love the vulcanized sole. As you can see, it is a black on black suede colorway with a little red detail on the lace and tongue that really makes the sneaker pop while keeping a really fresh and clean look.
