Everyone is going green these days…we’re seeing it with car companies, packaging companies and now shoe companies. As always, at the forefront of the changing trends is Vans; they always seem to pick out whats going to be a hit and set the path for other companies to follow…I can’t tell you how many replicas there are out there of such popular shoes like the Era, Slip on and the Half-Cab…I’m pretty sure every other skate shoe company has their own version of the Half-Cab…check out DC’s new Ryan Smith pro model…I swear that IS a half-cab. Anyways, this time around it is their new eco-friendly Eco Era LX. They have simply taken the classic Era and made its environmenally friendly with materials provided by innovative textile manufacturer, Maharam. The shoe sticks to its very simple design…a nice blue and red colorway with a white midsole.
