Vans has always been, and will always be one of my favorite sneaker companies of all time…mostly because they are one of the originators in blurring the line between skateboard shoes and stylish sneakers. The great thing about vans is that they tend to always put the actual act of skating above the design of the shoe…all vans are made for skating…this especially applies to the Chukka Low. I have had countless pairs of these sneakers and they are one of my personal favorites. Vans has come back for the summer time with some nicely colored, very summerish colorways. These colorways are very light and cool colored, both sort of pastel. As you can see to the left, the two new colorways are a light yellow and a light turquoise Chukka Low. As with many of the Chukka Lows, these sneakers feature suede throughout most of the sneaker on the upper and side panels. Another common trait among all Chukkas is the vulcanized sole, which I LOVE. With this colorway, we see a white midsole with a nice black stripe around the entire sole which gives it a nice touch that goes well with the black shoelaces and eyelet rings. These shoes are seriously so nice, I am definitely picking up a pair of these myself, check out some of the latest eBay auctions for Chukka Lows below…eBay always has some good deals on Vans.
