Check out the newest and one of the most anticipated Nike Dunk High Pro SB’s to be released this year. This is the October 2009 quickstrike release, the “Brain Wreck” Dunk High from Nike SB. As with all of the quickstrike releases, these will be extremely limited and hard to find…but these bad boys will be even harder to find than normal. Only about a dozen shops on the East Coast were chosen by Nike to carry these shoes, so if you’re on the West coast, better start checking eBay now…these puppies hit the shelves October 17th, so there should be a few of them out there now.
The inspiration behind these sneakers definitely comes from a skateboard background. This colorway comes from legendary skateboarder Steve Nesser and his Familia Skateshop. The shoes were actually designed by Todd Bratrud who is the guy who brought us the timeless “Send Help” Dunk High…that is still one of the best colorways nike has ever released. This colorway is super clean…most of the sneaker is a nice grey suede with a nice tonal grey leather swoosh. The tongue and toecap are also leather and are a vibrant bright pink, sure to cath the eyes of everyone. The most noticeable part of these sneakers is probably the heels. The words “Brain Wreck” form across the heels of this Dunk High in bold white letters. The white laces is another simple detail that does a lot for this shoe.
