Nike SB Creature Blazer Highs (Black/Varsity Purple/Volt)

Check out one of the first releases from this month’s Exclusive Nike SB Collection…Being part of the October 2010 collection, it only seems right that this Blazer High was designed in conjunction with Creature Skateboards who is known for putting out pretty awesome, evil and strange graphics…do you remember Creature’s United Nations that appeared on The Berrics last October? If not, check it out, it is personally my favorite United Nations to date. Anyways, back to the shoes…These sneakers were made possible through Nike SB teamrider and Creature Skateboard’s Pro Al Partanen. For this shoe, Al teamed up with artist Tod Bratrud to put together this “Hesh Halloween” inspired colorway. Hesh is definitely a great way to describe this shoe, Al Partanen and the entire Creature team. These shoes feature a black, varsity purple and volt colorway with a canvas upper in an almost tie dye pattern. The swoosh composed of varsity purple suede…smooth black suede on the eyelets, heel, tongue and toe area. The little details of this sneaker include volt green contrast stitching on the swoosh as well as volt green highlights on the tongue tag, and outsole. The insole of this Nike SB Blazer High features original artwork by Todd Bratrud depicting a hesh skeleton wearing a jean vest and nikes…much in the fashion of Al Partanen, sitting on a hotrod car with 666 tires. Being that its the month of Halloween, lets not forget other horror inspired Nike SB’s, such as the Friday the 13th Dunk High, and the Freddy Krueger Dunk Low.
