Nike SB Omar Salazar Signature Shoe
Apr 30th
Check out this photo of a recent sample designed by NikeSB for Omar Salazar's first pro shoe on Nike. He will soon join other heavy hitting pro's who have signature sneakers on Nike such as Paul Rodriguez and Stefan Janoski. Omar has definitely earned it, in my eyes. Just take a look at any of his video parts, he goes 10x faster than anyone else and is always going for it...always. This sneaker looks pretty cool to me...kinda like a mixture between a blazer high and a dunk...especially around the heel, that piece of suede that almost looks like a strap. I really like that this is going to be a vulcanized shoe. It also just looks a lot more padded and comfortable than a blazer. I think this is going to be a very popular sneaker for Nike SB.
Supra Vaider Low, New Exclusive Colorways
Apr 29th

Supra Footwear is at it again with another low top version of one of the most popular high top sneakers in the game, the Supra Vaider. What you see to the left is the Supra Vaider Low. These three new colorways are all about summer too, especially the all white...this is absolutely a great chill shoe...You can't be walkin around all summer long in high top moon boots, you gotta take it down and show the ankles once and a while. As you can see there is an all red suede colorway, an all white leather colorway, and the black version of the vaider low is probably my favorite. This verson is a mixture of suede and leather. The sneaker is predominatly black, but there are little accents of tiffany blue throughout the sneaker on the tongue, underneath the tongue and also around the heel area. Remember you can follow Supra through their twitter and get updates as they happen.
Vans Era, New Summer Collection for 2009
Apr 28th

Vans is always looking real good, and you can't really go wrong with their shoe, the Vans Era. It is basically the perfect summer shoe. It's a nice light, lowtop sneaker that works great with or without laces. I prefer to wear these bad boys without socks as well...its a risky move, but it tends to work out. This summer's line of Eras has many different models...basically a style anyone can get down with. Some of these are quite simple and traditional, which is really cool ( don't like the too crazy colorways) and some get more intricate with creative stitching and the classic checkerboard pattern on the mid panels. These sneakers should be hittin the shelves sooner than later to get ready for the coming summer months. If you are still feeling green, don't forget about the eco friendly Vans Authentics...green is always a good idea.
