The Nike SB Dunk Low Heineken is one of the most sought after and prized sneakers in the history of sneaker collecting. This sneaker was originally released in 2003 and is still talked about to this day. The funny thing about this sneaker is that it was not an official collaboration between the two companies. In fact, Heineken has since asked that these shoes be pulled off of eBay, which would make these sneakers even harder to come by. Obviously that has not worked; these things are still listed on eBay and selling pretty well, but Nike has been ordered to stop producing this shoe, so you better get some while you can.
The concept of these sneakers is something most collectors, and people in general are quite fond of…Heineken. The colorway of these shoes matches perfectly with what one would imagine a Heineken shoe to look like. The majority of the sneaker is green with areas of white on the toebox, side panels and around the heel. The red shoelaces are another one of my personal favorite aspects of the shoe. The laces match perfectly with the red star on the heel and both parts complement the entire shoe overall. The icing on the cake is the black swoosh which passes through both white and green panels of the sneaker.
Nike really knows their stuff when it comes to making a skateboard shoe. These, along with all of the other Dunks, offer an amazing cushioning system known as the Zoom Air insole. These shoes also offer extra padding to the ankle and tongue area. The Dunks also beef up the quality of the materials in these shoes. These dunks are double and triple stitched, making them some of the most durable shoes in the game.
