Adidas Skateboarding – Dennis Busenitz Signature Shoe

Check out the latest exclusive sneaker to come out of Adidas Skateboarding Summer Collection, the Dennis Busenitz pro model in a maroon suede with white outsole...so stoked on this guy and his shoe. Dennis Busenitz is pretty much the fastest dude in skateboarding, always going at least twice as fast as everyone else...great style, great tricks, great dude...deserves a sick shoe. This shoe is obviously based on one of Adidas' most iconic soccer shoes, the Copa Mundial. The Busenitz shoe is extremely simple, but is still an excellent skate shoe. Dennis was extremely involved with the conception of this shoe...he worked closely with the design team to ensure that his shoe performs exactly to his specifications. Some of the features of this shoe include: a PU model sockliner for extra comfort, Geofit collar lining, customizable tongue so you can wear it how ever you want, recessed eyelets for ollie protection and an extra set of laces. The metallic gold accents on this sneaker really put it over the top and make an excellent sneaker even better. Adidas Augmented Reality Sneaker

Augmented Reality, one of the year's hottest technology trends, has finally made its way into the sneaker world. Adidas is set to release five different models this February that will be equipped with a special chip in the tongue. This chip will allow the user to access a mini Adidas world when they go to the Adidas website and show the sneaker in front of a webcam. The user can then use the sneaker as a controller to explore the augmented reality, play games, etc. This is pretty cool technology...sort of scared to see what they come up with next. This is obviously a pretty huge marketing gimmick, but you gotta appreciate the technology...its pretty crazy. Check out the full article on Wired. The sneakers wont be super expensive either. New Adidas Superstar Skate Vulc

Check out this hot new release complements of Adidas Skateboarding. Adidas has always been on the up and coming with the latest styles and designs...especially their sometimes crazy colorways (just take a look at any of the Mark Gonzales custom colorways). Their latest release is the newest Superstar Skate Vulc, and believe me, this is a very, very, very nice shoe. This shoe work great as an accessory to an outfit, but works even better for skating. I have skated numerous pairs of this sneaker and it is one of the best shoes I've skated in...just look at it, vulcanized sole, suede mid panels...given a lot of sneakers are a lot like that these days, but these are the real deal. The soles are super grippy and just seem to work for skating. This colorway is a quite interesting one, it is obviously black, with a white sole and white tag on the tongue, but the red is the most dominating color in this shoe. The red is known as Cardinal red, and it works perfectly with this shoe, one of the best shades of red I have come across. Adidas also did this sneaker right with the rubber toecap...I know you skaters growing up in the early 90's will appreciate that one. Overall, the Superstar Skate is one of my favorite shoes of all time, and I'm super stoked they released a dope colorway on a vulcanized version of this shoe.
