]]> http://www.sneaker-supply.com/02/vans-era-herringbone-black-and-white/feed/ 0 Eric Koston 1 Signature model, tar/redwood-white http://www.sneaker-supply.com/02/eric-koston-1-signature-model-tarredwood-white/ http://www.sneaker-supply.com/02/eric-koston-1-signature-model-tarredwood-white/#comments Thu, 02 Feb 2012 22:15:51 +0000 John http://www.sneaker-supply.com/?p=2705 Here is another one of my favorite new models to come out of Nike SB in the last year, the Eric Koston signature shoe.  The Eric Koston 1 might just be the most comfortable skate shoe I have ever put on.  These sneakers are light as hell and skate really well, I highly recommend this shoe.   This is one of the first skate shoes to feature the Nike Lunarlon insole, which was previously reserved for running shoes only.  This is what makes these shoes so light weight, flexible and just plain comfortable.  But anyways, the new colorway for the Koston 1 this month is a super sick color for the season, a tar and redwood-white colorway.

This SB release also features TPU reinforced suede upper construction with a fused swoosh…which means that the swoosh is fused with the suede, making it impossible to peal or tear off…thats pretty cool  A few more technical aspects of this sneaker that include the neoprene liner, low ride cupsole construction and extra toe padding.  With all the technology in this sneaker, it’s no wonder this was one of the most comfortable things I have ever put on my foot.  Check out the Koston 1 in the tar/redwood-white colorway…keep it dark this winter.

The Nike Swoosh on this dunk low is black and dotted with white stitching, which always gives the swoosh that extra detail and pop.  The stitching also compliments the white midsole nicely.  Other neat little details include a black outsole and clean red highlights branding the tongue and heel.  This is a sick release for 2012, keep an eye out for other dope kicks to drop this year.  Check out some of these Pine Green Woodgrain Dunks available for sale through the following eBay auctions:

The Nike SB Blue Lobster dunks include the beautiful blue sb box and black and white laces…personally, I think the white laces look dope with this colorway. This Quickstrike Dunk is definitely unique (pretty much all Dunks are at this point), but this one really stands out from others in the past.  For this sneaker, Nike SB teamed up with Made For Skate to create an image inspired by old school roller derby boards.  The Roller Derby Dunks feature a red and white colorway with embossed woodgrain and cackle patterns.  One of my favorite details of thsi sneakers is definitely the #10 embroidery on the front of the shoe.  The heel is also really sick…it has the word “skate” on the left shoe and “board” on the right shoe…really letting people know what the SB in Nike SB stands for.

To top it off, the insole has a picture of a girl riding an old roller derby deck…looks really cool.  Might be awhile for these to show up on eBay, but keep your eyes peeled…they should pop up right here as soon as they’re available for sale.
