The Koston 1 SB is an extremely lightweight sneaker that features the new Lunarlon insole for extra impact absorption and comfort.  The upper panels on this sneaker are very interesting…it is nearly one-piece solid suede…this sneaker definitely takes a few inspirational features from the Nike SB Bruin (that is a super sick shoe btw).  The Koston 1 is a super streamline sneaker with minimized leather swoosh for a nice mix of form and function…check out the colorways below and check out the available Nike Koston1 SB sneakers for sale through the eBay auctions below:

It will hit harder for all the skate fans out there more so than the average sneaker collector because this is Eric Koston’s signature shoe we are talking about here…probably one of the greatest skaters of all time, if not the greatest…in my book he is without a doubt the most stylish, consistent, funny and humble skaters I have ever seen…the guy is seriously a living legend. Anyways, enough about Eric, lets talk about the shoes. As soon as I heard he had left Lakai for Nike, I knew they would have something sick in store for his first signature shoe from their line and this is one of the first previews of his shoe that we have been able to see. I found this photo over on sneaker news and I am stoked. Nike revealed this shoe, along with many others including Omar Salazar’s first shoe at the 2009 Skatepark of Tampa Showcase. According to them, this is still just speculated to be Koston’s shoe, but I think it goes along with him and his personality pretty well. It is one of the best colorways for the Dunk I have ever seen. Koston is doing it right with the suede panels and the gold swoosh really sets these shoes off. Check back tomorrow for an update on Omar Salazar’s shoe, that is going to be a real sick shoe…that is all i will say for now. “Not only am I psyched to be a part of the great group of guys that makes up the Nike SB team, but I’m equally as excited to work with them creatively. I’m sure many people know that a lot of different Nike’s have been the inspiration for my shoe designs over the last 12 years, so I feel like a f*cking kid in a candy store when it comes to this partnership between Nike and I.”

I think this news is sick…i’m sure we will see a Koston pro model shoe from Nike SB sometime in the near future, so you better believe we will be keeping up on that news front.  So, once again, KOSTON ON NIKE…we now return you to your regular sneaker specific news, thank you.
