The black, red and green uppers perfectly reflect the sentiment of A Tribe Called Quest’s album cover for “Low End Theory.”  The black suede upper features printed tonal black swirls.  The red swoosh represents the girl on the cover of the album and the green laces and font on the tonuge match up with the font on the album…pretty sick idea if you ask me.  You gotta love the hip-hop inspired SBs.

high top skate shoes also brought to my attention how sick these shoes are for skating…Premier skate shop made a video doing a wear test of the Nike SB Dunk High Pro “Cheech and Chong,” and these shoes held up very well…NIke claimed a thin layer of shred-able canvas would rip off to reveal the green under layer, but the video shows it to be a pretty thick layer because he skated those sneakers all day and they didn’t rip…thats sick.  check out the wear test video below and then some Nike SB Cheech and Chong Dunks for sale through eBay auctions!

Saw this over on High Top Skate Shoes today…its about the Nike SB Cheech and Chong Dunks, which we have been hearing a lot of buzz about lately.  Nike has officially postponed the release of these dunks, which were supposed to be released on 4/20…duhrrrrrrr…this year’s “420″ dunk.  Nike has contacted their accounts and according to them this shoe may not be released until 5/20…this may cause this dunk to be more popular than people first thought…there are even rumors that this dunk may not ever come out because of the copyright issues associated with it…this dunk has even caught the attention of MSNBC, making it even more popular and buzzed about…we’ll keep you updated on this baby…hopefully it’ll come out because I would personally love to get my hands on a pair…yeah mannnnnnnnnn…watch the bumps mannnnnn.

Here is another favorite Nike SB Dunk Low from the past…the other day we talked about a pretty old but memorable Dunk…the 720 Degrees Dunk.  This is one of my favorite colorways, this is the Nike SB Dunk Low Hawaii Edition aka The Pele Dunk SB; these shoes were released in February 2006 and it was a pretty epic release…i remember dudes were campin out at our local skateshop for these sneakers.  These things are pretty rare these days being that they are 5 years old and Nike not producing anymore.  ”The Pele Dunk SB or also known as Nike Dunk SB Hawaii’s, is inspired by “Pele” the Goddess of Volcanoes. The Hawaiian legends of Pele describe how she caused the eruptions of Volcanoes and her frequent moments of anger. As for the shoe, it features black patent leather, red stitching and orange. Here is a great sneaker for all you patriotic sneaker heads out there, the Nike SB “Born in the USA” Dunk High.  This is a super rare, exclusive and limited release from Nike Skateboarding…they recently just sent out a few extra restocks of this sneaker to select SB Dealers throughout the country.  Obviously, this sneaker draws inspiration from the good ol’ Red, White and Blue…but there is another inspiration here that might not be as apparent to all the young dudes out there, and this is a man by the name of Bruce Springsteen and his legendary album of the same name, “Born in the USA.”  This sneaker features a very patriotic colorway…it consists of a faded and distressed blue denim upper, navy blue leather mid panels, a white toebox, red and white stripe accents on the heels, American flag on the tongue and a red denim swoosh.  This is an all around great sneaker…I know it is already past the 4th of July, but these will look tight all year long…and be worth something.  Check out the following pairs of Nike SB “Born in the USA” Dunk Highs for sale through the eBay auctions below:
