Found this video over on Transworld...Paul Rodriguez and lots of the Nike SB crew have been in New York all week doing demos and hyping up the release of his latest signature shoe, the P Rod 4. They sat down with Paul to get the scoop on what’s up with the new shoe and also find out exactly what we can expect to see out of him in the next couple months, including a TransWorld interview and a Plan B video part. This sneaker should be available in all Nike SB dealers tomorrow, Saturday, August 21 in multiple colorways, as seen below. This sneaker will come out in Black Suede/White and White suede/Black colorways. In order to hype up this big release, Nike SB has put together a really cool P Rod 4 website which tells all about the technical advances of this sneaker. The website also features some pretty sick commercials with Paul Rodriguez killing it skating through New York City along with a pretty sick voice over track from New York Hip Hop Legend Nas. Check out the Nike SB Zoom Paul Rodriguez 4 commercial below, its real tight...but yea, the shoes...they are definitely a lot different from the first P Rod models. The P Rod 4 looks much simpler and less high tech than some of the previous models, but i promise you the technology is there. I definitely like the simple look of these shoes...if you don't pick up these shoes for skateboard purposes, pick them up for style...they look awesome. As soon as they pop up on eBay, they should be listed below the commercial for auction...keep an eye out.
Check out one of the newest bags to be released from Nike SB, this is the Shuttle Bag. Recently, Nike Skateboarding released a whole new line of backpacks and bags...we'll go through each one this week, but today we are starting with the Shuttle. This is a super deluxe and super nice bag to travel with. It comes in black and features a convertible strap system which allows it to carry two complete boards and two extra decks...which is pretty amazing. I've seen bags that hold maybe one complete, but wasn't really very comfortable to carry...this one holds two, and one board allows the bag to roll, making it easier to travel with. This bag also features a removable shaving kit and laptop compartment, so it can fulfill the needs of a dirty skater kid, or a suped up business man who actually cares enough to shave. The amount of organization and stash pockets in this bag is pretty amazing...no more throwing all your shirts, socks and underwear in your backpack and calling it a day...this baby makes it like you are traveling with your organized droors and shelves...if you actually had organized droors and shelves.
