]]> http://www.sneaker-supply.com/03/white-tuf-perf-skytop-ii/feed/ 0 Supra Holiday 2009 Preview http://www.sneaker-supply.com/07/supra-holiday-2009-preview/ http://www.sneaker-supply.com/07/supra-holiday-2009-preview/#comments Fri, 24 Jul 2009 16:53:33 +0000 John http://www.sneaker-supply.com/?p=638 I hope you aren’t sick of reading about Supra Footwear on this website, because it gets talked about a lot…easily one of my favorite skate sneaker brands on the market.  CCS recently put out these pictures of some of the upcoming colorways of some of the classic models from the past and some of their more recent releases, like the TK Supra Society.  In addition fo the Society they are putting out some sick new colorways in the Skytop, Vaider and a Suprano that you can see at the bottom.  I usually prefer the summer releases to the winter releases; the colorways are usually a bit more bright and happening, but these are still pretty tight.  The Skytop will be released in some smooth patent leather.  I am really feeling that black and blue colorway.  The blue heel really makes these sneakers pop.  The Society colorway is a bit bleh…not really feeling the brown leather on this sneaker.  The Suprano Highs are looking real good in that purple suede though…I have always said that suede is the best material for skating and I am sticking to that.

]]> http://www.sneaker-supply.com/07/supra-holiday-2009-preview/feed/ 0 Supra Footwear x Palms Hotel Collaboration http://www.sneaker-supply.com/07/supra-footwear-x-palms-hotel-collaboration/ http://www.sneaker-supply.com/07/supra-footwear-x-palms-hotel-collaboration/#comments Sat, 18 Jul 2009 17:16:38 +0000 John http://www.sneaker-supply.com/?p=634 Check out these very exclusive and very limited sneakers that Supra recently made specially for the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas.  Over the July 4th weekend The Palms was the most happening spot in probably the whole country.  At the Palms hotel that weekend, Jay-Z played two sold out shows and DJ AM was spinning all weekend in the Rain night club.  To celebrate this gigantic blowout party, Supra made 23 pairs of these Skytops.  These sneakers were made especially for John Gray, the “High Roller” manager of the Palms hotel and casino.  With only 23 pairs in existence, it may be kinda hard to get your hands on a pair of these.  I personally think the colorway is pretty tight.  Mostly white with hints of green and purple in the Palms logo on the side heels of the shoe.  The inside of the sneaker also has a few cool details including J. Gray along the insole.  Good luck copping a pair of these.  Check out some more photos of the sneaker below…all you can do is drool over these babies…i have pretty much given up on trying to get a pair of these.

Getting tired of Supra yet?  Of course not!  We showed you a few of the different NS (non signature) models a few days ago…the Supra NS Bronze Patent and Tie-Dye Grey Suede, we really like those a lot.  So today, we are going to set you off with another new release from the NS collection, the Studded Black Patent Leather Skytops.  These are some pretty extreme boots to put on your feet.  As you can see, the shoe is predominately black leather, and has accents on the sides and along the tongue in the form of studs…which gives it a sort of punk rock, rock n’ roll feel…or however you want to look at it.  These also make for an excellent weapon…one swift roundhouse kick to the head with these bad boys on your feet will stop anyone dead in their tracks…assuming you can do a roundhouse kick, if not then you’re screwed.  Overall, these shoes are pretty sick…I don’t recommend skating in these seeing as how the studs would destroy your griptape and give you very little grip and traction.  There are a few of these already out there in the form of an auction on eBay…check out the eBay auctions below.
